Real-time two dimensional dosimetry using Al2O3:C and Al2O3:C,Mg films

The Investigations of this article focus on the response Al2O3:C and Al2O3:C,Mg radioluminescence films for medical dosimetry in various MV photon beams. A system was configured using a scientific camera, attached to head linear accelerator (LINAC), facing beam’s isocenter, where were placed. By appropriate filter lens it is possible measure real time two-dimensional dose-rate distributions. key findings are that present clear advantage compared ones, with no interference from afterglow, better film uniformity, high spatial resolution suitability small field beam dosimetry, while giving overall good Flattening Filter (FF) Free (FFF) modes. results show our can be used planar dose rate assessment manageable correction factors.
